Peterhead Community and Recreation Centre's programme of activities has been designed to provide opportunities for continued 'education' throughout life by a varied programme of social, recreational and cultural activities.

If you have an idea for something new or different not covered by the Centre, or would like to be involved in setting up or running a new or existing club, class or group, then a member of staff will be happy to discuss arrangements with you.

In addition to the activities listed, there are many more which happen on a casual basis. These include over 50's events, a wide variety of productions in the Community Centre Theatre and Aqua Discos in the swimming pool.

There is also the opportunity to book parties which can incorporate either the use of the bouncy castle or the disco (on 'dry land' or in the swimming pool). Contact the Community Centre Reception for more information.

In addition to the groups and activities outlined in this booklet, Peterhead Area Learning Servive (PALS) run an extensive adult education and evening class programme, offering a range of subjects which include computing classes (at all levels), dressmaking, languages, cookery, art and even belly dancing!

This programme changes from year to year and further details can be obtained from the Adult Education Office in the Community Education Centre.
